JOB TITLE: F&B Cost Controller cum Accounts Officer
REPORTS TO: Accountant
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Food and Beverage Controller is responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing the food and beverage cost control initiatives across all Hotel outlets. This position will oversee, analyse, and lead the achievement of financial goals for all aspects of food and beverage purchasing, inventory, and income audits.
PREREQUISITES:
Education:
Minimum Education Level: Diploma in Accounting;
Preferred Education Level: Degree Accounting / Finance
Experience:
Has a minimum 1-2 year work experience with accounting/store management or F&B management and related field.
Language proficiency:
Able to write, read and communicate in English, Malay and Mandarin.
Essential Requirements:
1. Knowledgeable in general and cost accounting;
2. Strong profit and loss analysis and reporting experience required;
3. Wide information on food & beverage items, terminologies and multi-tasking. Food and beverage management experience preferred;
4. Strong organizational and analytical skills;
5. Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills, honest and able to work as a team
6. Enjoys working and is passionate for the job;
7. Clear and effective communicator;
8. Extremely organized with a high attention to detail;
9. Able to work long and early morning hours;
10. Ability to multi-task, think fast and to deliver problem solving requirements;
11. Possess diplomacy, discretion and impartiality of judgment;
12. Creative in thinking and approach, confident, and enjoys a challenges;
13. A good sense of humour, flexible and forward thinking.
