Job Titles: Chargeman cum Technician 

Location: Tuaran, Sabah

Responsibilities: 

• Attend genset switching during power failures or equipment breakdown.

• Able to read electrical schematic drawing to trouble shoot and diagnose electrical & mechanical equipment and carry out corrective action work.

• Responsible for the proper and efficient operations and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, fire-fighting, plumbing, sewerage and other mechanical & electrical services of the facility.

• Liaise with utilities providers such as SESB, JANS, JKKP, ST and other regulatory bodies on utility services and compliance issues.

• Manage the operations and maintenance of the facility through self-delivered teams and specialist sub-contractors.

• Plan and perform preventive maintenance & reactive/corrective maintenance work to prevent or minimize equipment breakdown and power failures, either through internal teams or subcontractors.

• Perform reactive and corrective maintenance during power failures or equipment breakdown.

• Attend to all power, equipment and machine failure and rectify accordingly.

• Ensure installations are safe and legal.

• Lead and supervise the work of Building Management team and subcontractors and ensure good operations and maintenance practices are always maintained.

• Ensure all statutory regulations are complied with as part of their duties.

Requirements:

1. Must have a certificate authorized by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (A1/A4).

2. Good command of both Bahasa Malaysia and English.

3. Good communication and leadership skills with every level of the organisation.

4. At least two (2) years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

5. Preferably Technicians specializing in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent.

6. Comfortable to work on shift basis, weekends and public holidays. (If necessary)

7. Good personal traits and characteristics, high integrity, trustworthy, reliable and honest.
