Job Responsibilities:
The Accounts Executive/Officer is responsible to assist the Finance Manager in carrying out day-to-day finance functions and general accounting operation. Her/his duties are to preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules, ledgers, account and bank reconciliations including:
-Handle full set of accounts including ensuring timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules to the financial statements.
-Coordinate month-end financial closing process including directing and preparing various journal entries, monthly balance sheet account reconciliation and calculation, recording monthly entries, as necessary.
-Ensure all accounting and financial management practices are carried out in strict adherence to group accounting policy and approved accounting standards.
-Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements and required disclosures in annual audited accounts.
-Review preparation of payment vouchers, invoices, cheques, accounts statements, reports and other records.
-Monitor the receivables accounts and ensure that the management of the outstanding receivables is in accordance with the policies and procedures.
-Follow up on collection of outstanding receivable.

Job requirements:
-Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
-At least 2-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
-Preferably specializing in Account & Finance or equivalent with manufacturing background.
-Knowledge of handling full set of accounts, finance principles and reporting.
-Highly motivated team player with strong drive for success and the ability to work independently.
-Strong analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills.
-Planning , organizing, problem solving and decision making skills
-Good written and verbal communication skills.
-Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
-Knowledge in ACCPAC, Automated Account System (ERP) or any accounting software will be added advantage.
